Finally Jordan's seminar and defense of his Thesus is scheduled (both in February) and he has applied for Graduation. I am soo proud of him, and excited to put yet another phase of life behind us. But here is my question.
Should he go to convocation?
I totally think he should this will be 7 years of school completed, and a piece of paper that says he has completed his Master's degree, but someone who I thought should have been excited about this and super encouraging took more of a mocking to a second graduation. Personally I think it deserves to be acknowledged, but what do you think?

7 years of schooling and hard work should be commiserated with a convocation and I think Jordan should be there.
i think its up to the graduate. we are trying to make the same choice. But jared isnt a showy person so he isnt gonig to the banquet (also it is like the DAY i am due) but his actual walking across the stage he is going to. school takes alot of hard work and they deserve the pat on the back for it
JORDAN- I WILL PERSONALLY TP YOUR HOUSE IF YOU DON"T GO_NO BEING A PARTY POOPER!!!
I wasn't going to miss my convocation for my masters program for ANYTHING!!! I really think it is important and I don't care who you are, you feel nothing but pride as you walk across that stage in front of your loved ones cheering you on. It is a major accomplishment!
Yes, convocation should not be missed. (Even if you are 9 months pregnant and the robe is a little tight) just sayin'
I think he should, and whoever mocked him is silly.
7 years is a long time, something to be celebrated and congratulated..
If it is a big deal to him, then absoluetly he should go. I myself was more than happy to skip convocation because there are things I would rather do, but I get why some people like them.
