Waterton Oilmans

My Dad has golfed in this tournament for as long as I can remember. In fact he said that he has only missed one year since he started golfing in it, and that was the year that I was married, and he was in the hospital for a bone marrow transplant and associated complications.

This year Jordan got to golf in it. He is totally legit since he works in the oil and gas industry, but it is a closed tournament, so you need an 'in' to be able to play, and then once you play you get you application every year after.

It was a fun weekend! There is a ladies scramble which some time I will play, but for now I have 3 little munchkins to keep me busy. I had a fun weekend planned where I would take the kids up Red Rock Canyon, go to the candy store, watch a parade, eat lots of junk, but the weather really didn't cooperate, but we had fun anyways.

Jordan lost his games on Saturday so he played in a scramble Sunday and won!!! That will keep you coming back.

Now we need to get some more younger people to come out. I had a really fun time at the banquet, but that was mostly laughing at the men's poor dancing abilities!

Body Worlds

I have some great friends, and today one of them called and offered me free tickets to Body Worlds at Telus World of Science. Jordan and I had talked about taking the kids, since Skyler is so fascinated about the body, but the $80 didn't seem worth it. While I still wouldn't pay the big bucks, it was soo great. The kids loved the exhibit, and then had a blast in the other kids area. I LOVE this kind of stuff, and it was slightly morbid knowing that it was all real specimens, and not replicas - it was still really cool!
